GOOGLE AD GRANTS FOR FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATIONS

Use Google Ad Grants to help people find the ministry or community support they are seeking.

Eligible faith-based organizations can receive up to $10,000 USD per month in in-kind Google Search advertising. Campaign planning should respect the organization’s voice while connecting practical searches with accurate ministry, outreach, event, or support information.

The grant for faith-based organizations

Up to $10,000 per month can promote ministry programs, outreach, events, and community participation.

Google Ad Grants can provide up to $10,000 USD per month in in-kind Google Search advertising to an eligible nonprofit. The amount is an advertising maximum, not cash, and unused budget does not roll over. Google provides the grant; EntireTech provides professional assistance and is not affiliated with Google.

For a faith-based organization, useful search campaigns may invite people to a worship gathering, food or family support, a community event, a ministry program, or a volunteer opportunity. The ad and destination should make the welcome, schedule, location, audience, and next step understandable.

Search-credit boundary

Use the grant for qualifying Google Search ads rather than treating it as funding for general operations or website work.

A program-specific invitation

Connect a search for a gathering, outreach program, family resource, or volunteer role with a page that explains what to expect.

Authentic and accurate language

Keep the organization’s voice while stating who is welcome, where the program operates, and what the visitor should do next.

Faith-based eligibility and setup

A faith-based mission still follows Google for Nonprofits verification and Ad Grants activation.

Faith-based organizations may be eligible, but the category alone does not establish eligibility. Google’s current guidance requires country-specific charitable eligibility, verification through Google for Nonprofits, and agreement to Google’s terms. Government entities, hospitals or health care organizations, and schools or universities are among the organization types identified as ineligible for Google for Nonprofits.

The application path is to review eligibility, request a Google for Nonprofits account, complete verification, and then activate Ad Grants through Google’s instructions. Google provides the Ad Grants account during activation, so the organization should not create a separate Google Ads account for that process.

Ministry campaigns and management

Campaigns can welcome a searcher while giving the ministry team a manageable next step.

Keyword research may cover a worship time, community meal, youth program, family support, holiday event, volunteer role, or outreach service in a defined area. Campaigns should separate attendance, support requests, giving, volunteering, and learning paths rather than sending every search to a general homepage.

Conversion tracking can measure registrations, contact requests, event participation, volunteer inquiries, or donation actions when those measures are configured appropriately. Ongoing management includes search-term review, keyword and ad updates, policy checks, landing-page review, optimization, and reporting that ministry leaders can understand.

Welcome campaigns

Help people searching for a worship gathering or first visit find current times, locations, expectations, and contact details.

Outreach campaigns

Connect searches for meals, family programs, community help, or seasonal events with accurate participation information.

Measurement and care

Track meaningful registrations, inquiries, volunteer actions, or donation visits without treating a click as proof of ministry impact.

Policy stewardship

Review current Google Ads and Ad Grants requirements, account performance, search terms, and policy notices throughout participation.

Ministry campaign support

EntireTech can support implementation while the grant and approval remain Google’s responsibility.

EntireTech can help a faith-based organization turn approved campaign priorities into managed search work. Website and landing-page design or redesign support conversion and clarity, but they are not the grant itself. Google provides the grant and controls eligibility and approval; EntireTech is not affiliated with Google and cannot guarantee approval, continued eligibility, the full monthly amount, attendance, donations, or ministry outcomes.

Professional assistance can include Google Ads campaign setup and ongoing management, keyword research, GA4 installation or configuration, conversion tracking, SEO and content optimization, landing-page work, and performance reporting for staff or leadership review.

Welcome and program pages

Design or refine pages that explain a gathering, outreach program, event, or support path before the visitor decides to participate.

Google Ads management

Set up and manage campaigns around approved ministry goals, with regular review rather than unattended account activity.

Measurement for participation

Configure measurement for registrations, inquiries, volunteer actions, event participation, or other agreed actions.

Content and reporting

Improve search-facing explanations and report campaign activity in language that supports practical decisions.
